Alex Tucci hit a lead-off, walk-off homer in the bottom of the seventh to break a 1-1 deadlock and lead Hallam to a 2-1 triumph over visiting Stewartstown on Thursday in Susquehanna League baseball action.
Tucci finished 2 for 3.
Hallam's Travis Stump threw a complete game, striking out five, walking one and allowing seven hits, while Joe Pietrobone went 1 for 2 with one run and one RBI.
For Stewartstown, Cody Brittain threw a complete game, striking out nine and walking five. Brittain also connected at the plate, going 2 for 3, including an RBI single in the first. Also for Stewartstown, Justin Sommer went 2 for 3 with one run scored.
York Township 5, Windsor 4: At York Township, Erik Gretzmacher led the home team by throwing a complete game, striking out four and walking three, while allowing eight hits and three earned runs. Also for Township, Austin Martinez went 2 for 3 with three RBIs. For Windsor, Cole Gipe went 2 for 3, including a triple, with two runs scored, while Shawn Wilson went 2 for 4, including a double, with one RBI.
Red Lion 3, Jacobus 1: At Red Lion, the home team plated all three of its runs in the bottom of the fifth. Cody Somerville led the Lions with a triple, two RBIs and one run scored. Teammate Thomas Taylor was 2 for 3 with one run scored. For Jacobus, Kyle Saxman went 2 for 3, while Kerry Clark doubled. Jacobus' Casey Markey threw a complete game, striking out four, walking one and allowing five hits.
Conrads 15, Felton 8: At Felton, the visitors plated seven runs in the second and five runs in the sixth. Nolan Boushell led the visitors with a homer, two doubles, three runs scored and three RBIs. Also for Conrads, Travis Hake went 3 for 4 with two runs scored; Keven Keesey went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, one run scored and a double; Brad Church went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and one run scored; Josh Knaub went 2 for 4 with one run scored and one RBI; Joe Yourgal went 2 for 3, including a double, with two RBIs and one run scored; Zac Burke went 2 for 5 with a double, one run scored and one RBI and Jackson Marshall went 1 for 2 with two RBIs and one run scored. Manchester 7, Mount Wolf 6: At Manchester, Jonah Latshaw's triple in the bottom of the fifth scored the tying run at 6-6, and he later scored on a visitor miscue to give the home team the lead for good. Latshaw went 2 for 4 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Also for Manchester, Austin Allison went 3 for 4 with one run scored and one RBI, while Matt Jordan had two doubles and two RBIs. For Mount Wolf, Tyler Page had a two-run homer in the first, a double, two walks and four RBIs. Also for the Wolves, Grant Myers went 3 for 4, Dustin Kuhn went 2 for 4 and Mark Burnside and Dan Dierdorff each doubled.
Glen Rock 6, Jefferson 4 (8 innings): At Jefferson, Dan Rogers led off the top of the eighth with a double and later scored on an RBI single by Conor Miller to break the 4-4 tie and give the visitors the lead for good. Andy Rosenzweig added a sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth to add an insurance run. For the game, Miller went 2 for 4. Justin Anderson also went 2-4 for Glen Rock, including a three-run homer in the fifth and a double, while collecting four RBIs. For Jefferson, Jordan Watkins went 3 for 3, including a double, Jordan Witmer went 2 for 3 with a double, Colin Porter went 2 for 5 and Jordan Higgins, Curt Seiders and Joe Jasinski each doubled.
