CENTRAL LEAGUE: Stoverstown, Mount Wolf split showdown

The top two teams in the Central League settled for a doubleheader split on Sunday in Mount Wolf.
The home team triumphed in the first game, 9-5, while Stoverstown rebounded to take the second game, 3-2.
The Wolves remained alone in first place at 15-4, while the Tigers stayed one game back at 15-6.
In the opener, the Wolves pounded out 13 hits, including a 4-for-4 effort from Jessen Sargen. Two of Sargen's hits were doubles. He also had two RBIs and a run scored. Steve Pokopec added a homer and a double for the winners with five RBIs and a run scored. Mark Burnside (3 for 4, two runs, RBI), Dustin Kuhn (2 for 4, two runs) and Jake Krevetski (2 for 2, run) also had big offensive games for the Wolves. Connor Graber pitched a six-hit complete game for Mount Wolf to get the win, striking out four and walking two.
Stoverstown was paced by Brandon Warner (3 for 4, two runs), Zach Schuler (2 for 4, double, RBI, run) and J.W. Besore (homer, three RBIs, run).
In the second game, Levi Krause and Daryl Harang combined on a seven-hitter for Stoverstown. Krause pitched the first five innings to get the win, allowing four hits and two earned runs. He struck out two and walked three. Harang pitched the final two innings to get the save. He gave up three hits, but no runs. He struck out two without a walk.
Devon Harbold (two hits, RBI) paced the Tigers' attack in the second game.
Grant Myers (two hits, run) and Sargen (two hits) led Mount Wolf's offense in the second contest.
Mount Wolf's Adam Hoff pitched a complete game, but took the loss, allowing eight hits. He struck out three and walked two.

LEAGUE GAME
Pleasureville 4, Shiloh 2: At Pleasureville, the Hawks scored one run in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at 2-2, then added two more in the sixth to win it. Beau Burris (2 for 4, double, RBI, run), Scott Ream (2 for 3, double, RBI, run) and Adam Smith (2 for 3, run) led the Pleasureville attack. Andrew Parks pitched a complete-game six-hitter to get the win. He didn't allow any earned runs, while striking out four and walking two. Logan Stover pitched a complete-game eight-hitter for Shiloh, allowing three earned runs. He struck out four and walked three. Walker Monteith led Shiloh with two hits, including a double, and an RBI.
Dover 5, Glen Rock 0: At Glen Rock, Derek Slagle pitched a five-hit shutout to help Dover surprise Glen Rock. He struck out one and didn't walk a batter. Colt Zarilla (two hits, RBI, run), Michael Moore (two hits, two RBIs) and Devin Dellinger (double, two RBIs) paced Dover's attack. Dover improved to 3-14. Third-place Glen Rock fell to 12-7.
