LEGION BASEBALL: Northeastern hurler has another no-no


Brady Dolan threw a no-hitter to lead first-place Northeastern to a 3-0 triumph over visiting Gettysburg on Monday evening in York-Adams American Legion baseball action.

Dolan struck out nine, walked none and had a perfect game going into the top of the seventh. It's Dolan's second no-hitter on the season.

Northeastern's Brady Dolan has now thrown two no-hitters this season in York-Adams American Legion action.

Devin Blymire led the Northeastern offense, going 3 for 3, including a double, with one RBI. Also for Northeastern, Kenny Kopp doubled, while Dolan tripled.

Northeastern improved 10-1-0.



York 9, Dover 3: At Dover Jhonse Garabito had three hits and three RBIs and also pitched two innings of two-hit shutout relief for York, striking out six. Rob Smith (two hits, run), Jiraldy Garabito (two RBIs), Mike Bonilla (two runs, two RBIs) and Jose Torres (two hits, two RBIs, run) also excelled for York.

New Oxford 0, Pleasureville 0: At New Oxford, after 10 innings of play neither team was able to plate a run and the game ended in a tie. Starting pitcher Mike Davis led Pleasureville by throwing seven shutout innings, striking out six and walking two.

Hanover 14, Spring Grove 3: At Spring Grove, the visitors scored in every inning but one en route to the six-inning victory. Russell Livesay pitched five innings to get the win, striking out seven. Brady Topper had three RBIs for the winners. Ty Maughlin had two RBIs for Spring Grove.

Shiloh 7, Suburban York 6: At Shiloh, a three-run bottom of the seventh lifted the home team to victory. Zion Neuman got the win on the mound, while Colton Kubicki tripled for the winners.

Dallastown 10, Glen Rock 0:

At Glen Rock, the visitors rolled to the win. Dallastown improved to 4-2, while Glen Rock fell to 3-4. No other details were reported.
