Mark Burnside's monster game powered Mount Wolf to an 11-6 triumph over visiting Shiloh on Tuesday evening in Central League baseball action.
Burnside belted three doubles and collected six RBIs.
Also for the Wolves, Steve Pokopec homered and doubled with two RBIs and two runs scored, John Mehring went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and one RBI and Adam Hoff threw a complete game, striking out seven, walking none and allowing one earned run.
For Shiloh, Chase James went 2 for 4, including a homer, with three RBIs, while Jesse Bortner went 2 for 2 and Brock Gladfelter doubled and had two RBIs.
Jefferson 14, Dover 3: At Dover, Curt Seiders led the visitors by belting a triple and a double, with two runs scored and two RBIs. Also for Jefferson, Jordan Watkins went 2 for 3, including a double, with one RBI; Tyler Troxel went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and one RBI; Jordan Witmer went 2 for 5 with one RBI and one run scored; Joe Jasinski went 2 for 5 with two runs scored; Colin Porter went 2 for 4 with two RBIs; and Scott Trail doubled. For Dover, John Miller hit a solo homer in the third, while Colt Zarilla doubled.
Conrads 3, Jacobus 1: At Jacobus, a three-run rally in the top of the seventh saw the visitors come from behind to knock off the home squad. Xavier Bonilla hit a go-ahead two-run home run to put Conrads in front for the first time in the game. Brian Crimmel drove in the only run of the game for Jacobus, coming on a fielder’s choice groundout in the bottom of the fifth.
Stewartstown 9, Red Lion 8 (6 innings): At Stewartstown, the visitors led 8-7 going into the bottom of the sixth, but the home team plated two runs in the bottom half of the sixth to take the lead and a victory. Cody Brittain led the the home team with a triple, while teammate Andrew Woo picked up the win on the mound in relief. For Red Lion, Mike Godfrey hit a homer, while Jake Wapinsky and Tom Taylor each hit one double. The game was called after six innings because of darkness.
Hallam 7, Windsor 2: At Windsor, Alex Tucci led the visitors by throwing a complete game, striking out six and walking one. Tucci also contributed at the plate by going 3 for 5 with two RBIs. Also for Hallam, Jaron Shimmel went 3 for 5, Eric McNeil went 2 for 5 with two RBIs and Matt Ruth went 2 for 3. For Windsor, Shawn Wilson went 2 for 3, Brandon White went 2 for 4 and Matt Robinson hit a double. Hallam connected for 15 hits in the game, all singles.
Red Lion 4, South Western 3: At Red Lion, the home side rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh to walk off against South Western. After closing a two-run deficit to just 3-2 with two outs, Evan Paulus delivered the game-winning two-run single to lift Red Lion to the win. South Western jumped out to a 3-0 lead through 2 1/2 innings.
Shiloh 4, Stewartstown 2: At Shiloh, Benjamin DePasquale got the win on the mound and also had an RBI to lead Shiloh. Anthony Kahley, Tyler Seiffert and Robert Bertucio also had RBIs for Shiloh (4-2). Matthew Moscynski and Joseph Thomas had Stewartstown's RBIs.
