None of the top four boys' seeds were able to advance to Tuesday's semifinal round. All four received first-round byes before getting upset in the quarterfinals.

The seeds in the 10-player boys' field were determined based on points accumulated during the YCJGA tournaments this summer.

In the quarterfinals, No. 1 seed Michael DeRose fell to No. 9 seed Jun Lee, 4 &3; No. 2 seed Andrew Roberts lost to No. 7 seed Brandon Simmons, 1 up; No. 3 seed Nick Hooper was beaten by No. 6 seed Justin Gruver, 4 &2; and No. 4 seed Russell McPaul was defeated by No. 5 seed Logan Snyder, 3 & 2.

That leaves Snyder as the top seed left in the tournament. Snyder will face Lee in one semifinal at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The other semifinal, pitting Simmons vs. Gruver, tees off at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday. The championship match is slated for 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

In first-round boys' matches Monday, Lee beat No. 8 seed Owen Brown, 4 &3; and Simmons beat No. 10 seed Aiden Fissel, 4 & 2.

The girls' semifinals and finals are also set for Tuesday. At 8:20 a.m., No. 1 seed Taylor Hicks meets No. 2 seed Alexandra Smith, while at 8:30 a.m., No. 2 seed Cailey Roman battles No. 3 seed Ella Moores. The girls' title match is set for 12:55 p.m. Tuesday.

Weather, however, could be a factor Tuesday. There's an 80 percent chance of rain.
