Michael DeRose now owns two major Boys' 15-18 Blue Division victories on the York County Junior Golf Association Tour.
On Monday, June 18, DeRose captured the Bob Blecher Junior Championship at Briarwood East Golf Course.
He followed that up by taking the YCJGA Mid-Summer Classic at Out Door Country Club on Monday, June 25.
Both of those events were double-point tournaments on the YCJGA Tour.
DeRose now has 69 points and a large lead in the race for the YCJGA Cup in the Boys' 15-18 Blue Division.
DeRose won the Mid-Summer Classic with a 6-over-par 78 on a long and windy Out Door layout. DeRose finished strong, going 1-under over the final five holes, including a birdie on the par-3 17th hole.
Russell McPaul took second at 81, winning a match of cards of Logan Snyder, who also shot 81. Justin Gruver was next at 82, followed by Andrew Roberts at 83.
The best score of the day came in the Boys' 15-18 White Division. Gavin Harvey won that division with a 1-over 73, including three birdies. Harvey was eight shots clear of second-place Alex Gekas (81). Zach Jones was third at 85. He won a match of cards over Channing Bratton.
Colin Vineberg picked up his second win of the season in the Boys' 14-and-Under Division by shooting a 76. He birdied two of the first five holes. Shooting 86 and finishing second was Jesse Strine. Last year's division champion, Trevor Snyder, was third at 87.
Taylor Hicks captured her second Girls' Division title of the season with a 93, which was three shots ahead of second-place Cailey Roman. Alexandra Smith was third at 97.
Alexander Beckley took first in the Nine-Hole Division with a 4-over 40. He won a match of cards over Mason Tucker. It was also Beckley's second win of the YCJGA season. Dallas Inch was third at 43.
The next stop on the YCJGA Tour is Monday, July 2, at South Hills Golf Club near Hanover.
