ABBOTTSTOWN — A number of York County golfers, including two siblings, excelled on Tuesday during a Philadelphia Section Junior PGA Tour event at Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown.
York's Jun Lee had the low round of the day with a 5-over-par 76 to win the Boys' 13-15 Division. A birdie on the start of his back nine on No. 11 was followed up by a streak of four pars.
Just a couple of shots back in second was Carlisle's James Ulsh at 78. Spring Grove's Karl Frisk was third at 79.
In the Boys 16-18 Division, Dover's Logan Snyder finished first at 83. Snyder highlighted his round with a birdie on No. 4. A stroke behind in second at 84 was York's Brandon Simmons. Spring Grove's Aiden Fissell was third at 99.
Another Lee sibling was able to snag first in her own division. York's Julianne Lee carded an 81 to win the Girls' 16-18 Division. Lee got her round off to a great start with a birdie on No. 1. New Cumberland's McKylie Boreman was second at 85, while Hummelstown's Abigail Han took third at 90.
In the Girls' 13-15 Division, Hummelstown's Amanda Gerrish was first at 82. Camp Hill's Paige Richter was a shot back in second. York's Lillian McNally was third at 110.
Bear Creek's Hunter Probst won the nine-hole 12-and-Under Division at 42. West Chester's Joshua Baker took second at 51 and York's Mason Tucker was third at 53.
