York County junior bowlers recently fared well in the Pennsylvania United States Bowling Congress Youth Tournament held in Pittsburgh.

Matt Forry and Bret Zirkle teamed up to earn second place in the boys' scratch doubles category, while Madison Brenneman and Thomas Altland took 20th in Class B handicap doubles. 

Zirkle also placed third in boys' scratch all-events. Marc Howard was seventh and Matt Forry was 19th in the category. Howard added a fourth-place finish in the boys' scratch singles. 

Brenneman finished second in the girls' A handicap all-events category and fourth in Class A handicap singles. Altland added a 16th-place finish in the boys' Class B handicap all-events.

It's a Set Up, a Red Lion team, placed sixth in the scratch division.

Other top finishers include: Kamryn Brenneman, eighth in the girls' Class B handicap singles and 20th in handicap all-events; Cloe Noel sixth in the girls' Class B handicap all-events; Cole Hurtz eighth in the boys' Class C handicap singles; and Harlie Wintermyer  20th in the girls' Class A handicap all-events.
