New York driver captures $2,000 victory during indoor race in Allentown's PPL Center


New York state 360 sprint-car driver Scott Kreuter raced to the win in Saturday’s 40-lap three-quarter-midget feature at Allentown’s PPL Center.

Kreuter’s win was worth $2,000.


Kreuter started third and led dirt modified driver Erick Rudolph to the line at the finish. Friday winner Justin Bonsignore finished third, with Matthew Roselli and Jonathan Reid in the top five.

Danny Buccafusca won the slingshot feature over Anthony Raisner and Kyle Harve.

Bonsignore, a NASCAR modified driver, raced to victory in Friday’s indoor three-quarter midget race in Allentown. Bonsignore raced from the 20th starting position to win the 40-lap feature and collect $2,000.

When Bonsignore took the lead from Ryan Flores on the 23rd lap he became the fourth different leader of the event. Matt Janish finished second, with Rudolph coming back from a 10th-lap tangle for third. Ryan Tidman and Earl Paulus completed the top five.

Cale Ross jumped from third to first on the first lap and led all 20 laps to win the Champ Kart feature over Mike Perry. Local racer T.J. Reed finished sixth.
