Ex-York-Adams standouts play key roles in York Summer Basketball League championship games

A pair of former York-Adams League standouts played key roles in the York Summer Basketball League championship games on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Both games were decided by a single point.

Former York Catholic standout Melik Martin scored 24 points in the York Summer Basketball League championship game.

In Division I title game, former York Suburban graduate Ted Hinnenkamp scored 13 points to help Donnybrookers edge Crunchtime, 46-45. Crunchtime's high scorer was Emmanuel Mossery with 14. Donnybrookers won their second Division I title in a row.

In the Division II championship game, the Elite Warriors edged CMT Contractors 57-56 behind 24 points from former York Catholic standout Melik Martin. Former York High standout Jacquez Casiano added 20 points.
