Hanson won his first tournament of the summer, firing a 6-over-par 77 to win by four strokes in the Boys' 15-18 Blue Division.

Austin Shreffler finished in second with a 10-over 81, while Brady St. Pierre and Devin Peart tied for third with matching 82s. St. Pierre grabbed third place outright based on the card-matching tiebreaker.

Starting on the back nine, Hanson fired a 3-over 39 that included six pars and three bogeys. On the front nine, he again shot a 3-over score, but was more up and down on that side. After making a triple bogey on the par-3 second, he rebounded with a pair of birdies on the par-4 fifth and par-3 eighth to go along with two bogeys.

Logan Snyder and Karl Frisk rounded out the top five by both tying for fifth with 84s.

Green Division: The Boys' 14-and-Under Green Division event was shortened to only nine holes because of rain.

Trevor Snyder prevailed, winning with an 8-over 44, defeating Cole Sevick by three strokes. Sevick shot a 47, while Nicholas Fowler posted 50 to round out the top three.

All play was held on the back nine.

White Division: The Boys' 15-18 White Division was also shortened to only the back nine portion of the course.

There was a three-way tie for first between Owen Brown, Andrew Roberts and Josh Sherdel, with all three players shooting 6-over 42s. Brown was awarded first on a card-matching tiebreaker, while Roberts was given second and Sherdel took third.

Brandon Simmons finished in fourth with a 45, while four players tied for fifth with 46s.

Red Division: In the Girls' Red Division, Cailey Roman edged Elle Moores by shooting an 87, holding off Moores by one stroke.

The win for Roman was her second of the season. Roman shot a 41 on the front nine, which put her over the top after a 46 on the back. Moores posted matching 44s on both nines. Alex Lowder shot 90 to finish third.

Nine-Hole Division: Caden Blanchette continued to dominate the Nine-Hole Division, winning his third event of the summer with a 3-over 38.

He was four strokes better than second-place Brandin Peart, who fired a 42. Alex Beckley took third with a 43, Tyler Anderson shot at 45 and Athen Sacher rounded out the top five with a 46.

Blanchette rolled in a birdie on the par-4 third to go along with four bogeys and four pars.

Next week is the final points event of the season, taking place at Heritage Hills Golf Resort on Tuesday, July 25.
