York County residents among award winners at York US30 Heritage Days

The award winners have been announced for the second York US30 Heritage Days and 16th annual York Reunion.
The event was held on Friday and Saturday, July 7-8, at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing at the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds near York Springs.
A number of the winners came from York County.
The People's Choice award was won by Mike and Connie Szczepanski from Winona, Minnesota. Mike Szczepanski did nearly everything himself in preparing the “Tokyo Rose” World Championship car — the body, engine, interior and paint — with the only exception being the lettering on the race car.

First Place: Ken Hobbs, Lineboro, Maryland, 1963 Dodge 330.
Second Place: Scott Montgomery, Glenside, 1968 Plymouth Barracuda.
First Place: Tony Barone, Podunk, 1932 Chevy Hot Rod.
Second Place: Bill Czachorowski, Clayton, Delaware, 1936 Ford Pick-up.
