York Dispatch Bowler of Week: Manchester's Crystal King

Bowler: Crystal King, 26, of Manchester.

Crystal King

Latest bowling accomplishments: Raised her average 25 pins, from 92 to 117, since the beginning of the season. She also has rolled a high game of 187.

I started bowling: This season at East Lincoln Lanes.

Bowlers I have learned the most from: James Wareham and Kevin Sollenberger.

Part of my game I'm working on improving: Hitting my mark consistently.

Best bowling advice I've received: Move right if you're missing left.

Bowling appeals to me because: It's a good stress reliever.

Most difficult part about bowling is: Figuring out where to stand, based on the lane conditions.

Most non-bowlers don't realize: How much work it takes to become a good bowler.

PBA bowler I enjoy watching: Jason Belmonte.

Future goal: Roll a 200 game.
