Susquehanna League awards Gentzler/Smith Scholarships

The Susquehanna Baseball League celebrated the 24th anniversary of the Gentzler/Smith Scholarship on Saturday.

The scholarship is awarded to players in the league who are pursuing a post-high school education.

The Susquehanna Baseball League celebrated the 24th anniversary of the Gentzler-Smith Scholarship on Saturday. Absent from the picture were James Streibig and Daulton Martin. The scholarship is awarded to players in the league who are pursuing a post-high school education. Each recipient was awarded a $500 scholarship. The Gentzler-Smith Insurance Company has been a supporter of the scholarship since its inception in 1993.

This year’s recipients are Nicholas Schuler, Jonathan Snyder, Brett Alaimo, Matthew Attig, James Streibig and Daulton Martin. Each recipient was awarded a $500 scholarship.
