SIGULDA, Latvia — Glen Rock's Summer Britcher earned a seventh-place finish on Sunday during a World Cup women's sprint singles luge race.
Britcher finished in 31.005 seconds. Russia's Tatiana Ivanova won the race in 30.692 seconds.
Th top American finisher was Emily Sweeney in fourth place at 30.910.
On Saturday, Britcher was the top American finisher in another World Cup race in Latvia, again placing seventh.
For the season, Britcher is ninth in the World Cup women's singles standings with 404 points. Germany's Natalie Geisenberger leads the standings with 697 points.
The top Americans are Erin Hamlin in third (494) and Sweeney in fourth (488).
