Bowler: Bob Myers, 54, of Red Lion.
Latest bowling accomplishment: Rolled an 803 series at Lion Bowl.
I started bowling: At Central Lanes when I was 12 years old.
I’ve learned a lot about bowling by watching: PBA bowlers Earl Anthony, Norm Duke and others.
Part of my game I’m working on improving: Slowing down and becoming more accurate.
Most memorable bowling moment: Rolling my first 300 game.
Bowling appeals to me because: It’s a fun sport.
Most difficult part about bowling is: Finding the time to do it.
Most non-bowlers don’t realize: How physical the game can be.
Advice I would give someone just starting to bowl: Stick with it and talk to other bowlers. Try to learn as much as you can from bowlers who have a lot of experience.
Future goal: Score well in the national tournament.
