Bill Brenner earned his 24th Briarwood East Golf Club championship over the weekend.

Brenner won the title in a 36-hole match-play final over Tyler Harman.
Brenner was 3 up through 18 holes and 2 up through 27 holes, before Harman rallied to tie the match after the regulation 36 holes.
The match ended on the 39th hole when Brenner made a par.
Brenner's 24 titles span more than six decades.
Bill Brenner captures another Briarwood golf crown
Brenner defeated Bob Meckley in the quarterfinal (3&2) and Shaun McIntyre in the semifinals (1 up).
Harman advanced to the finals by defeating Sam Berryman in the quarterfinals (3&1) and Clair Stough Jr. in the semifinals (5&3).
Brenner, a six-time York County Amateur champion, had earlier won the 2016 Briarwood West Senior Championship.

WYCAGA to have better-ball event: The Women's York County Amateur Golf Association will hold a better-ball tournament on Tuesday at Regents' Glen Country Club.
The field includes 68 golfers from nine York County golf clubs, including the defending 2015 winners, Connie Shorb and Amy Kennedy.
