Kendel Abrams registered the lowest score of the day, an even-par 71, to capture the York County Junior Golf Association 18-and-Under Girls' Division at Hickory Heights Golf Club near Spring Grove.
Abrams' round included a 2-under 34 on the back nine en route to a 12-shot victory over second-place Alex Lowder.
It was Abrams' first YCJGA title of the summer. Abrams will be a junior at Susquehannock in the fall. It was her career-low tournament round.
Taylor Pratte finished third at 86.
Justin Gruver also picked up his first YCJGA crown of the season by shooting a 3-over 74 to win Boys' 15-18 Blue Division. He won on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff over Logan Snyder. Andrew Davis and Kevin Crumbling tied for third at 75. They were the only four golfers to break 80 in the division.
Devin Peart captured his second straight triumph in the Boys' 15-18 White Division with a 74, finishing three shots clear of second-place William Gekas. Hugh McMurray was third with an 80.
Like Peart, Michael DeRose earned a second consecutive victory in the Boys' 14-and-Under Division with an 86, which was one shot better than runner-up Andrew Roberts. Karl Frisk and Max Kile tied for third at 91.
Nicholas Fowler took the Nine-Hole A Division with a 40, followed by Bradin Peart at 42 and Jimmy Hook IV at 44.
The next YCJGA event is Monday at The Bridges Golf Club near Abbottstown.
