Amy Kennedy will chase after her eighth Women's York County Amateur Golf Association Championship this week at Out Door Country Club.

Kennedy, the defending champion, enters the match-play event as the No. 1 seed in the Championship Flight with a 0.3 handicap index.

Amy Kennedy easily won her quarterfinal match in the WYCAGA championships on Tuesday, putting her in the semifinal round.

Connie Shorb, a 31-time WYCAGA champion, comes in as the No. 2 seed with a 4.1 handicap index. She is the only women with more titles than Kennedy.

The other six Championship Flight participants, and their handicaps, are: No. 3. Susan Konstalid (7.4), No. 4 Grace Divot (7.8), No. 5 Louise Gebhart (9.1), No. 6 Kristy Hamp (9.5), No. 7. Talley Fisher (11.5) and No. 8 Susi Guinn (12.1).

The first-round matches on Tuesday morning, along with their tee times, are: Kennedy vs. Guinn, 8:30 a.m.; Divot vs. Gebhart 8:38 a.m.; Shorb vs. Fisher, 8:46 a.m.; and Konstalid vs. Hamp, 8:54 a.m.

The semifinals are slated for Wednesday morning, followed by the championship match on Wednesday morning.

There will also be a First Flight and a Second Flight. Following are Tuesday's tee times for those flights:

First Flight: Carolyn Karge (12.2) vs. Mary Bobst (14.8), 9:02 a.m.; Nancy Gross (13.4) vs. Lynn Fiery (14.4), 9:10 a.m.; Maggie Ryan (12.8) vs. Lynn Newcomer (14.7), 9:18 a.m.; and Paula Bauer (13.0) vs. Janet Klas (14.5), 9:26 a.m.

Second Flight: Kelly Farrell (15.3) vs. Mary Jane Epley (26.5), 9:34 a.m.; Jocelyn Abel (16.0) vs. Carol Seitz (17.7), 9:42 a.m.; Kerri Bacha (15.5) vs. Bev Miller (21.6), 9:50 a.m.; Tracy Fulks (15.8) vs. Sue Joiner (18.8), 9:58 a.m.

WYCAGA Invitational: Bon Air Country Club near Glen Rock will play host to the annual WYCAGA Invitational on Wednesday, June 29.

This event is open to any 2016 WYCAGA member.  The  tournament allows the women to make their own foursomes with a 6-6-6 format. Breakfast and lunch are included. Tournament entry forms are available from WYCAGA member clubs or by contacting Lindy Sweeney at
