York's Justin Krebs runs to York Marathon title

Just more than a month ago, the Yorker won the inaugural Spartan Half Marathon at York College.
On chilly and windy Sunday morning, Krebs added the 2016 York Marathon crown to his resumé.
The 42-year-old Krebs captured Sunday's event in 2 hours, 40 minutes, 48 seconds, which was eight minutes faster than Russell Burns of Morgantown, West Virginia.
The event started at the YMCA on Newberry Street, moved to the York County Heritage Rail Trail, and finished back at the YMCA.
The YMCA was the sponsor of the event.
Media's Brian Crispell was third at 2:52.44, followed by York's Jonathan Pinkerton in 2:56.54 and Camp Hill's Greg Mandak in 2:57.27.
Tanya Navarro, a 46-year-old from Seven Valleys, was the top female finisher in 3:29.40.
Jamie Spooner from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, was second among the women in 3:30.28, followed by York's Michaele Rayburn in 3:30.56, York's Amy Roberts in 3:32.36 and Maria Galbraith of Glen Allen, Virginia, in 3:36.19.
A total of 89 runners finished the race.
