York's Justin Krebs raced to an easy victory on Sunday in the inaugural Spartan Half Marathon at York College.
Krebs finished the 13.1-mile event in 1 hour, 16.38 seconds.
Philadelphia's Amanda Lohss (1:35:01) was the top female finisher.
The event was mostly staffed by York College student-athletes and the race course was held mainly on the York County Heritage Rail Trail.
There were 238 finishers.
Krebs, a fixture on the regional running scene, won by exactly nine minutes.
Lohss, a former York College runner, won by more than four minutes. Lohss was known as Amanda Parshall during her York College days.
Wellsville's Sam Baum took second among male finishers in 1:25.38, followed by Red Lion's Justin Emmel (1:29.51), Virginia's Tom Burkholder (1:31:40), Dover's Andrew Hartman (1:32:53), New Cumberland's Stephen Foster (1:33:04), New Freedom's Patrick Morrison (1:34:41), York's Ryan Sentz (1:35:24), New Freedom's Tim Groth (1:35:55) and Dallastown's Jared Craig (1:36:27).
New Oxford's Alyson Groft was the second female finisher in (1:35:01), followed by New Jersey's Chelsea McCraken (1:43.19), New Jersey's Ellen Hays (1:44:12), York's Amy Hampson (1:44:56), Hummelstown's Natalie Nutt (1:45:04), Maryland's Olivia Schleicher (1:46:05), York's Kelly McKInley (1:46:26), Dover's Kelly Rose (1:46:33) and York's Tiffany Gilbert (1:47:48).
