Central York/Dallastown victorious

Central York/Dallastown captured a 7-1 triumph over Lampeter-Strasburg on Wednesday night in Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League Tier 3 action at the York City Ice Arena.

Brandon Heath set up three goals in the CY/Dallastown victory.

Colin Young was one of four CY/Dallastown players to register two points. His first-period goal held up as the game-winner and he later assisted on Dennis Kohajda's goal in the third period. Kohajda also finished with a goal and an assist. Anthony Tranchitella (two assists) and Gavin Lyter (goal, assist) were the other dual-point performers.

The CY/Dallastown defense made it any easy night for goalie Griffin Long, who stopped nine of the 10 shots he faced.

Susquehannock falls: Charles Ghiazza's three goals helped propel MSMCC to a 5-3 victory vs. Susquehannock.

Susquehannock's Nicholas Prego had a goal and an assist. Cory Madison and Cody Smith also scored goals for Susquehannock.
