Lancaster County wrestler makes verbal commitment to Penn State

Penn State picked up a Pennsylvania wrestling recruit on Saturday night.

It wasn't Spencer Lee, considered the top recruit in the state from Franklin-Regional. Instead, Devin Schnupp committed to the Nittany Lions.

According to LancasterOnline, Schnupp made it official on Twitter. The senior's commitment isn't completely official until he signs a National Letter of Intent in November. Schnupp wrestles at 113 pounds for Warwick High School, and projects to wrestle at 125 pounds for the Nittany Lions. He is the reigning Lancaster-Lebanon League champion and finished sixth at the PIAA Championships in Class AAA.
