YORK COLLEGE: Men's soccer team rallies to beat Penn State Harrisburg
After failing behind in the first half, a pair unanswered York College goals in the second half helped the Spartans secure a 2-1 men's soccer road victory against Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday.
Brendan Saberton's unassisted goal at the 58:50 mark evened the game at 1-1. It was Saberton's third goal of the season.
Less than 10 minutes later, Nigel Robinson put the Spartans ahead for good when he converted an assist from Joel Teston.
York finished with 13 shots to PSU-Harrisburg's six. The Spartans also had eight corner kicks to the hosts' three.
York is now 4-6-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Capital Athletic Conference. Harrisburg fell to 2-6-2 and 0-3-0.

Field hockey team falls in OT despite Posey's two goals: At York, the Spartans' field hockey team got behind 2-0 after the first half vs. Stevenson before Red Lion graduate Ali Posey scored a pair of second-half goals to push the game into overtime. In the extra session, Stevenson's Sara McVey found the back of the net to give the visitors the 3-2 win. The goals were No. 13 and 14 on the season for Posey.
Women's soccer team loses: At Fredericksburg, Virginia, a pair of early goals by Mary Washington doomed the Spartans in women's soccer action, 2-1. York's Caitlin Rankin found the back of the net in the second half.
Women's volleyball team swept. At Fredericksburg, Virginia, the Spartans were bested in three games by Mary Washington in women's volleyball, 15-25, 18-25, 14-25. York drops to 9-13 overall and 1-1 in the CAC. Mary Washington improved to 16-4 and 3-0.
