The York College men's golf team fired a team score of 292 during the first day of the Penn State Harrisburg Fall Invitational at Dauphin Highlands Golf Club in Harrisburg.

The Spartans' 4-over-par total leaves them sitting in third place in the 10-team field. Franklin & Marshall shot a 4-under 284 to lead the field. Gettysburg is close behind at 287.

Freshman Tyler Newton led the Spartans with a 1-under 71. Junior Alex Colton shot 72, senior Tyler Keim fired a 74 and sophomore Brandon Hur had a 75. The tournament concludes Monday.
