York YMCA's Small finishes 10th in Pan Am 200 breast
York YMCA swimmer Meghan Small finished 10th in the 200-meter breaststroke event at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto on Wednesday.
Small finished second overall in the B-final with a time of 2 minutes, 31.35 seconds.
After coming in fifth with a time of 2:32.40 in the second heat in the morning, she failed to qualify for the eight-woman A-final, which would've put her in contention to swim for a medal.
Small, who's from Lineboro, Maryland, and entering her senior year at Manchester Valley High School, will be in the pool at the Pan Am Games on Saturday. She'll be competing in her strongest event, the 200 individual medley.
Courtney Harnish, who's Small's teammate at the York Y and is entering her junior year at West York High School, will swim in her only event on Saturday, the 800 freestyle.
