As alarms blare about Russian interference in U.S. elections, the Trump administration is facing criticism that it has no clear national strategy to protect the country during the upcoming midterms and beyond. Both Republicans and Democrats have criticized the administration’s response as fragmented, without enough coordination across federal agencies. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File)

Springettsbury Township residents, it has been my honor and pleasure to serve as one of your supervisors since October 2018. After a review process of several candidates, I was appointed by the board to fill a vacancy. I am also serving on the township’s 15-year Comprehensive Plan and the Transportation committees.

My wife, Becky and I have lived in the township for the past 32 years. I was employed in the real estate department of McCrory Stores for 26 years, the last 12 years as vice president of real estate, where I was responsible for overseeing 30 million square feet of real estate from coast to coast, including 1,400 stores, offices and warehouses.

I started Cox Realty in 1996, a commercial brokerage, and have successfully operated it for the past 23 years. I have chaired the boards of the York County Chapter of the Red Cross and the Children’s Home of York, and served on the boards of York Rotary, Turning Point and Crime Stoppers. I currently chair the Honors Committee of Martin Library.

I enjoy giving back to the community in which we live and where we raised our family.  I originally intended to serve only until my term expired in January 2020 but have since reconsidered. I am asking you to consider writing in “Bob Cox” for the two-year term of supervisor. Thank you for your consideration.
