LETTER: Slenker great son-in-law, great judge candidate

York Dispatch

We first met Neil Slenker in 1986 when he began dating our daughter, Linda (Mrs. Slenker). Immediately we were impressed with Neil's intelligence, integrity and maturity. Twenty-nine years later, our impressions are still correct.

After law school, Neil and Linda settled in York to be near their deep York County roots. Neil has proven he's hardworking while dedicated to his family, church and career. Since then he's embraced the community with his growing volunteer efforts.

We can unequivocally say that we would support Neil Slenker for judge in the Court of Common Pleas even if he wasn't our son-in-law. We know that if elected, Neil's heart and soul will be 100 percent into his new position and his character, compassion and integrity will rise to even higher standards and help make York County a better place to live and work.

Please join us and proudly vote Neil Slenker on May 19.
