LETTER: Slenker for the bench

Please consider Neil Slenker for judge of the York County Court of Common Pleas when you vote in the May 19 primary election.

Neil is an outstanding candidate with long-standing roots in York County. He was born and raised here, attended undergrad in Maryland and returned to Pennsylvania to receive his JD from Dickinson College. He remained in York after college where he has successfully practiced law with Stock & Leader for the past 20 years. Neil is chairman of the Litigation Department, vice chair of the Business Employment Department, serves as the ethics counsel and was elected to the firm's Management and Compensation Committee, which oversees the firm's business operations.

In addition to his career, he is active in the community and has also coached basketball and baseball for youth programs. Neil is a wonderful role model to his wife and children, making them his most important priority. He is an honorable, trustworthy, intelligent and thoughtful candidate for judge who will balance individual accountability with compassion.
