Over the years York County has been blessed with some very high-quality candidates who became judges. Many are now retired or will be retiring soon. What they brought to the bench was integrity, honesty, a sense of fair play, and balance. I personally knew and worked with many of those now-retired judges.

On May 19, York County residents will have the opportunity to vote for two candidates for judge in the York County Court of Common Pleas. My choice for one of those positions is Neil Slenker, who has the qualities we all look for in a candidate. I believe he will be fair and balanced when it comes to interpreting and applying the law.

I hope you will consider casting your ballot for Neil Slenker on May 19.
