LETTER: Clancy best choice for district judge

York Dispatch

I am writing this letter in support of attorney Jennifer J.P. Clancy to fill the upcoming vacancy as the magisterial district judge (19-2-05). As a former principal, I have had the pleasure of knowing Jennifer as a supportive parent, school board director and friend. Jennifer is an individual of high moral character with exceptional ethical integrity.

As an eight year director of the school board, Jennifer has chaired the Academic Standards and Curriculum Committee, negotiated contracts, reviewed and implemented policy, assisted with fiduciary matters, and participated in employee and student disciplinary proceedings. In all realms of her responsibilities, Jennifer was well-versed on the topics, examined all points of views, and performed her duties in an informed and judicious manner. Her sense of doing what was right for all stakeholders was very strong and laudable; yet, she was respectful and accepting of her colleagues and their opinions.

Jennifer J.P. Clancy is the best candidate to be elected for magisterial district judge, and I ask that you help elect Jennifer by voting for her in the May 19, 2015, primary election.
