LETTER: Clancy has strong sense of integrity

York Dispatch

What is the hallmark of an outstanding magisterial district judge?

Integrity: the ability to make the correct moral decision at the right time based on the facts presented.

That has been Jennifer J. P. Clancy's approach during her eight years on the York Suburban School Board and that will be how she handles the cases that come before her as magisterial district judge (19-2-05) covering Spring Garden Township, West York Borough, and North York Borough.

I have had the privilege of serving on the York Suburban School Board with Jennifer. Her training and experience as an attorney have been evident as the board has debated the complex issues facing the school district. In all those discussions, Jennifer's integrity has shown through.

Jennifer has been involved in the community serving on township committees/boards, coached her daughters' sports teams, been a volunteer tennis and softball coach for York Suburban and is active in her church. As a parent, she is involved with her daughters' studies and their numerous other interests.

I strongly encourage the voters in magisterial district 19-2-05 to vote for Jennifer J. P. Clancy – a person with a strong sense of integrity – on May 19.
