I attended the March for Life rally in Washington D.C. on a trip sponsored by Sen. Scott Wagner. The media did not give as much coverage to this event as they did for the Women’s March.

The York Dispatch alone posted nine times about the women’s march including updating their cover photo with an image from the march in Philadelphia. There was only one post about the March for Life. The Dispatch continually referred to March for Life attenders as “anti-abortionists,” refusing to call us “Pro-Life.”

We are Pro-Life and we do not support abortion. However when faced by the opposition, they are called pro-choice instead of what they really are, pro-abortion. It seems as though there really is a propaganda war, and controlling the narrative is of utmost importance in this warfare.

The media has refused to acknowledge the reason why we marched for life. We march to protect thousands of babies who are murdered each year.

Wagner sponsored legislation that would ban abortion after 20 weeks and end the horrendous act of dismemberment abortion, pulling apart a baby by its limbs. Unfortunately, Governor Wolf vetoed this legislation.

While Gov. Tom Wolf calls this legislation the most restrictive in the country, 15 other states have already changed their laws to ban abortion after 20 weeks because of the advancements in medical technology and the increase of a baby’s viability at that age.

We have a march to continue here in Pennsylvania — the march against the media who continually persecutes pro-life believers for standing up for life and the march for a new governor.
