LETTER: Gratitude for dedicated volunteers

Greetings and thank you! A week ago you the voters of the 95th LD went to the polls and honored me with your vote.

You helped me achieve a historic win for our district and I couldn’t be more grateful. During our shortened campaign, we did what we know works best. We had fundraisers, made phone calls and distributed positive literature. Most importantly, we met each other.

To all the volunteers who bravely went door to door to meet new folks or who reacquainted themselves with familiar faces, I thank you so much. No campaign can be successful without dedicated volunteers like you who stood up or raised your hand and got involved. Our positive message of issues that are important to all of us in the 95th is how we won.

Now the hard work begins. This week I will be in Harrisburg electing caucus leaders, attending orientation, and signing on to committees that can help me bring the needed resources to our district.

For the past nine years, it has been an honor and a pleasure to serve you on council; thank you for your support over the years. Now I’m so excited to serve as your new Representative-elect.

On Dec. 1 our district office will be transitioned and open for business, offering the same kind of excellent customer service you’ve come to expect.

Again, thank you to everyone who hosted fundraisers, made phone calls, knocked on doors, allowed yard signs, marched in parades and voted. I couldn’t have done it without you. Be safe. God bless.
