LETTER: An Independent candidate for the 92nd District
My name is Kate McGraw, Independent candidate for the 92nd Legislative House seat serving York and Cumberland counties. Voters in the 92nd District now have a unique opportunity to have their voices heard and make history on Tuesday, Nov. 8, by casting their vote for someone who is unafraid to roll up her sleeves and work hard, one who is not beholden to special interests or divisive party politics. As a lifelong Independent in a historically uncontested district, I have met with thousands of voters and the message is clear: we need to bring greater integrity and fresh perspective to Harrisburg.
With 15 years experience as a successful professional artist, I have worked in the arts community with both public and private sector businesses. I have mentored vocational and technical students aspiring to work in the arts through film and video production. As part of the first generation in my family to attend college, I have obtained advanced degrees and have received recognition and awards that are testament to my work ethic.
My professional success is due to my ability to utilize limited resources, while collaborating with many people in diverse settings. We need a negotiator and strong advocate in Harrisburg who knows how to fight the good fight.
As one who comes from a large family of farmers and small business owners, born and raised in the 92nd District, I will fight to preserve our farmland to bolster a new vision for our agricultural economy. I will ensure that we give our children the quality education they deserve. I will press for access to vital healthcare services for all, especially those facing life-threatening conditions. I will be an advocate for strong infrastructure to support local business in our beautiful district.
On Nov. 8 cast your vote for Kate McGraw Independent.
