Roadwork to slow morning Pa. Turnpike traffic near Harrisburg this week

York Dispatch

Repaving work near the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Harrisburg East Interchange will cause traffic delays and headaches for local motorists heading east into Lancaster County this week.

The right and center lanes for eastbound traffic on Interstate 76 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. each morning from Tuesday, Nov. 7, through Friday, Nov. 10, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The lanes will be closed to allow construction crews to mill and repave the interstate between mile markers 246 and 250, according to the release.

Motorists should expect the roadwork to cause traffic delays each morning, according to PennDOT.
