Traffic backing up on I-83 Wednesday morning

Two right-lane closures on Interstate 83 are again causing traffic jams and delays north of York City Wednesday morning.

Northbound I-83 traffic is backed up for two miles between the off-ramp for Strinestown at Exit 28 and mile marker 30.

After working Tuesday on the southbound section of the bridge spanning Conewago Creek, crews have moved to the northbound side, closing the right lane.

I-83 South: A PennDOT construction crew with multiple vehicles are occupying the right lane of I-83 South, forcing a rolling right-lane closure around the Emigsville exit. 

Workers appear to be filling small potholes, causing a quarter-mile bottleneck.
