The York County History Center's "Travel to the Past to Power Our Future" event on Saturday could cause problems for those driving near the Codorus Creek.

York City Police will close the first block of North Pershing Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the center to host the event at its Colonial Complex, according to a news release.

Parking will also be restricted on the block for the duration of the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
