Ron Miller, an auditor with the state Auditor General's Office, has announced his candidacy for the York County Recorder of Deeds, according to a news release.

Miller, of Mount Wolf, has previously served as a football coach at West York Area High School and various universities, the release states. He will be running on the Republican ticket.

Randi Reisinger, who currently holds the position, wrote in an email that she will not be running for re-election, opting to retire after working in the office for 38 years.

Reisinger added that Brad Daugherty, her chief deputy, also will be running for the position.
