Candidates Carol Hill-Evans and Joel Sears will participate in a public forum hosted by York College on Wednesday, according to a news release.

York City Council President Hill-Evans, the Democratic candidate, and Spring Garden Township's Sears, the Republican candidate, are vying for the 95th District House seat being vacated by Rep. Kevin Schreiber, D-York City.

The forum will be held from 6-7 p.m. in Weinstock Lecture Hall at the Willman Business Center, the release states. The free event is co-sponsored by the Department of History and Political Science, the Political Science Student Union and York NAACP.

The general election will be held Nov. 8.
