GOP delegates to be topic of York 912 meeting
The York 912 Patriots' meeting in April will focus on the Republican delegate candidates to the party's convention in Cleveland.
In Pennsylvania, each congressional district elects three delegates, and in the 4th Congressional District, 15 people are vying to be a delegate. The delegates don't have to commit to a presidential candidate before the primary and can vote for any of them at the convention.
How the state's primary works will be discussed at the meeting, and attendees will get to meet most of the delegate candidates, according to a news release from the 912 Patriots.
Joe Peters, a GOP candidate for state attorney general, will also be at the meeting, the release said.
The meeting will be held Monday, April 18 at the Shiloh Fire station, 2190 Carlisle Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting will start at 7 p.m., the release says.
The event is free and open to the public. The York 912 Patriots hold meetings monthly.
