Rep. Schreiber moving district office
State Rep. Kevin Schreiber has left York City Hall and moved his district office a few blocks north to a former train station.
The new office, 53 E. North St., Suite 3, at the historic former train station in the north end of the city opened Wednesday, according to a news release from Schreiber's office.
"The former train station, and now our new office, will be an excellent location to continue serving my constituents," Schreiber, D-York City, said in the release.
His former office was located inside city hall.
The new digs afford more space, which will come in handy when assisting residents. The office received more than 2,700 inquiries from constituents last year.
Office hours will remain 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and the telephone number will stay (717) 848-9595. Free parking is available in the lot beside the office.
