The North Codorus Township Fire Co. this summer bought a new 2015 Ford 550 brush truck to replace its 1983 unit, which originally was one of the township's dump trucks, according to a news release from North Codorus Fire Chief Tim Carr.

The new brush truck was purchased entirely with funds received from solicitation drives and chicken barbecues held over the course of several years.

Members of the fire company wish to extend their gratitude to residents of North Codorus Township for their continued support.
