CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death of a man whose body was found in the trunk of his car.
Justin Hockenberry will face counts of criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and drug possession. It’s not known if he’s retained an attorney.
Authorities say the 36-year-old Orrstown man met with 37-year-old Demetrios Kalathas on Nov. 11, expecting to collect an $800 drug debt. They say Hockenberry shot the Chambersburg man multiple times that day and put his body in the trunk of the car, abandoning the vehicle near a Lion’s Club parking lot.
The body was found Sunday. Hockenberry was arrested without incident the next day when police found him walking along a road in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County.
