MERCER, Pa. – Police say two juveniles were killed and two others seriously injured in a weather-related crash on Interstate 80 in western Pennsylvania.

State police say an SUV carrying the four was traveling east in snowy weather when it crashed into a tractor-trailer Sunday evening in Mercer County near the Ohio border. Another tractor-trailer then crashed into the wreck.

Police say the two injured juveniles were taken to a Pittsburgh hospital with serious injuries. The drivers of the tractor-trailers were uninjured.

The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed into the early morning. Traffic was detoured.
