BENSALEM, Pa. – Police in suburban Philadelphia say they are seeking a man in the slaying of a woman found dead in her car shortly after 911 dispatchers received a call from a woman saying she feared for her life.

Bensalem police say the caller, possibly the victim, said shortly before 7 a.m. Monday that she feared her former boyfriend was going to kill her. Moments later, a crash was reported and police found the woman’s body inside the vehicle.
Public safety director Fred Harran said a man was seeing fleeing. Officers went to the woman’s residence but didn’t find him there.
Harran vowed that the man would be in custody soon, saying “He’s not coming here and killing this woman on a Monday morning and thinking he can get away with it.”
