Man found stabbed to death in recording studio basement

PHILADELPHIA — Police say a man was found stabbed to death in the basement of a Philadelphia recording studio.

A police spokesman said officers were called to Superior Sounds recording studio in the Northern Liberties neighborhood just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

They found a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name wasn’t immediately released.

No arrests were immediately announced. The recording studio owner told The Philadelphia Inquirer that he at the police station trying to find out what happened.

Police also said a man died after he was found shot to death in the driver’s seat of a parked car just before 3:30 a.m. in the Mayfair section of northeast Philadelphia.
