PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia have arrested four people and are seeking a fifth after a 14-year-old girl said she was forced to have sex with several men for money before she was able to escape.

Police said the girl walked into Temple University Hospital on April 25 and said she had run away from home two days earlier and contacted an 18-year-old man she considered a friend, but was then assaulted at his home. At another man’s home, she said, an online advertisement was posted offering sex with her for money and she was forced to have sex with several men. She said she escaped two days later after the offenders fell asleep.

Three men and a woman face charges including conspiracy, trafficking, and involuntary servitude. Another man is being sought.
