LANCASTER — Neighbors say they heard and felt an explosion before fire destroyed a central Pennsylvania house where authorities say one person has been found dead.

The Lancaster County coroner’s office had no details to release hours after the fire was reported about 3 a.m. in West Hempfield Township. That’s a suburb of Lancaster.

A state police fire marshal has been investigating the fire.
