Mid-week services

St. John Lutheran Church, 2580 Mount Rose Ave., will host a mid-week event in observance of Advent, Wednedays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16.

The public is invited to a soup and bread meal at 6 p.m., followed by a service at 7 p.m.
